130 PAX ship for maritime roads
Designed to operate into maritime roads at a service speed of 10 kt. A length of 22 m, higher freeboard and
an engine power of 2 x 75 kW allows operating whatever waves and stream conditions are.
180 PAX ship for river cruise
This 28m length ship is designed for city touristic tour. In a futuristic style, it will provide passengers
with a large sight and the silence of zero emission propulsion.
Other inboard source of energy
Depending on the operating service, ships can be fitted with the following energy systems :
- Range extenser (ZE/RE) Secondary generator for exceptionnal conditions (strong stream or wind, extended service,...). The generator supplies onboard batteries
- Fast cruising speed (ZE/DE)Generator directly supplies engines in case of a cruising speed beyond battery capacities. Zero emission sailing remains available in urban or harbour area. Thanks to hydrodynamic efficiency of our ships and propulsors, energy balance and GHG emission remain greatly favourable.
- Lithium battery and very fast charge A very powerful charger fitted on dock allows recharging a small set of very robust Lithiul batteries at each call. This system has been developped in cooperation with our partners SAFT batteries and EVE system. This system can be effective if call duration are long enough compared to trip time
- Hydrogen and fuel cell. Using a fuel cell to turn hydrogen into electricity is a very efficient system in term of weight, so that range can be increased by a factor 3 compared to the best batteries. Alt.En and its partners Michelin Recherche & Technique et EVE system develop a full system including hydrogen production during night break.
